Computer Mediated Math Instruction & Tutoring

This program will satisfy the Early Start requirement for first-time freshman who will be attending CSUSB in the fall of 2014.

COMMIT is designed for CSUSB incoming freshmen who scored 19 - 29 on the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) test.

This program will satisfy the Early Start requirement; it is optional and one way to begin and possibly complete the student's remediation requirement before the academic year begins.

Students, who attend all 11 days and successfully pass the exam on Thursday, July 3, 2014, will be given a Credit by Examination (CBE) for Math 75B and will be eligible to participate in the Intensive Mathematics Program (IMP).

All students are required to attend both sessions. For a student to successfully pass COMMIT, regular attendance is required - no exceptions.

Instruction:9:30 AM -- Noon
Lunch (on your own):Noon -- 1:00 PM
Tutoring:1:00 - 3:00 PM


There is no cost to incoming freshmen attending CSUSB in the Fall 2014. Fall 2014 must be their first quarter at CSUSB.
